Shedding the Layers

I sought to illustrate a journey, starting from the solid ball on the left of the piece to the flooding colors and emotions on the right. I always felt like I had to hide my opinions, ideas, and thoughts to please others. Finally learning how to express myself, I took inspiration from a disco ball, where the light explodes out in every direction, giving the same effect to my flooding out emotions.
